Ion Paintball Guns Will Not Hold You Back

Paintball guns come in many varieties and the Ion marker is no different. It has many of the features you expect but most important is it's versatility. Determining which gun is right for you depends on your experience level, how much you want to spend, and what kind of competition you have.

It's true that Ion paintball guns are some of the best paintball guns on the market today. They were made by Smart Parts paintball and are for all kinds of uses. This gun sells for less than $300 and is affordable by most paintball enthusiasts. It is made for tournament play at an entry level price.

One of the nice things about this gun is its 17 ball per second firing rate on semi and 10 bps firing rate on auto. This is a good firing rate considering the low price of the gun. It is good enough to keep up with a lot of the tournament guns out there in play.

The first thing you will notice about this gun is its color scheme. Believe it or not this is not painted on the gun but rather part of an outer shell. The purpose for this shell is to protect the gun and its internal parts. It also allows you to switch the colors of your gun in only a few minutes.

Another great thing about this particular gun is that it is lightweight. Weighing in at only 2.2 pounds it offers great control and maneuverability on the field. This gun also offers about 1000 to 1400 shots per 4500 psi bottle. This means you won?t have to carry any extra air onto the field.

The Ion is powered by a 9 volt battery. This kind of battery is very common and can be bought almost anywhere. The average seems to be about 14,000 ? 15,000 shots per battery. The great thing about this is you won?t have to worry about your gun for a few games.

The Ion paintball gun is also designed to never chip or break your paintballs. This comes as a big relief to any paintball player who has ever had to clean their gun in the middle of a game. Smart Parts has also made the trigger easier to adjust than most paintball guns. All you have to do is twist some screws and voila you have yourself a new trigger pull.

One of the biggest problems with this gun is how poorly it performs with CO2. There is no problem with high pressure air and it?s actually recommended for this gun. For the casual paintball player however CO2 is cheaper and easier to get than HPA.

Overall, this is a great gun for new players and tournament players in paintball. You can get it while a rookie and keep upgrading it as you become a more advanced player. The Ion paintball gun will not hold you back.
